In “Back To The Future” Marty (Michael J. Fox) is watching his eventual dad George (Crispen Glover) up in a tree watching his eventual mom Lorraine (Lea Thompson) *undress* using binoculars. His father is a peeping tom! A pervert! Marty isn’t even supposed to be out in public, if he changes the past he could change the future... which is Marty’s present. But he’s afraid his dad is such a wimp that he won’t hook up with his mom and Marty will never be born, so he’s trying to help them get together. What’s the worst that could happen when you are trying not to interfere with what happens in the past? Marty gets hit by a car on the street! Now he’s going to be seen by other people (like the guy who hit him) and that may change history! What’s the *worst* that could happen? The driver was Lorraine’s *father* and he takes Marty into the house... and Marty realizes that his dad and mom met when Lorraine’s father hit George with his car... and now it is *Marty* who was hit by the car! Which means (next scene) Lorraine will fall in love with *Marty* instead of George! Um, this leads to a really uncomfortable scene where Marty’s mom tries to make out with him. I think we’re in “worst that could happen” scenario with that!
